REVIEW: Etude House (not completely cruelty free) Peach Water Gloss (Strawberry Milk) 3 stars

Brand: Etude House
Parent Company: AmorePacific
Line: ?
Make-up Type: Lip Gloss (sponge applicator)
Origin:  South Korea
Tested on Animals: Parent company AmorePacific committed to ending testing in MAy 2013, but has yet to pull out of China.

Summary: The packaging is gorgeous, the color is gorgeous, but it's a little too sheer and has not so great coverage and lastability. The purpose of water gloss is to absorb into the lips and feel weightless and moisturized. This didn't happen...Great idea, not so great product quality.

Price: $7.99
Size: standard
Packaging: Comes with little box - the gloss tube is pretty and has the flower/tulip logo cover.
Scent/taste: neutral
Color: #2 Strawberry Milk
Texture: a little sticky
Ease of Use: a little messy and it's very sheer and wears off easily
Effect: pretty color, but several coats need to be added, and still it vanishes quickly...
Verdict.....Would not buy again...

REVIEWS: Lioele (TESTS ON ANIMALS)

Brand: Lioele Make-up Type: BB Cream Origin: Korea

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND...THEY TEST ON ANIMALS- upon sending the seller an inquiry, they stated that they did not test on animals. The Lioele site claims to be cruelty free. They lied.

I just got my full 50 ml sized one in the mail which I ordered (for $12 shipped - Bellogirl) after  using the 10 ml sized one for a few months now. I first noticed the amazing coverage when I was doing my make-up for a film shoot and had some red spots. They just disappeared!
I was so happy that after I ordered the full-size, I ordered the tiny 5 ml sample - so I could have all of the sizes. Yeah I know...A little weird...

Review Summary:

Size: 50 ml
Packaging: 3/5 Pretty white tube with pink quilt designs, comes in standard glossy paper box.
But tube in the large size has a pump instead of the smaller sizes that are just squeeze bottles...
Color: 5/5 Looks kind of beige coming out, but blends in perfectly with even very fair skin

Texture: 3.5/5 smooth, not sticky, not cakey
, slight thick feeling right after application
Lastability: 4.5/5 All day in regular conditions. Nickel size portion needed for each use...
Scent: 3/5 definite make-up smell

Effect: 5/5 Covers everything! Matte finish

Other: 3 sizes - 50,10,5

Overall: It has great coverage... 10 ml perfect for carrying in a small make-up bag, 50 ml version perfect for home use as well as travel, and 5 ml is just adorable...

REVIEW: Lioele Glittering Jewel Eyeliner (Black)

Brand: Lioele
Make-up Type: Eyeliner
Liner Type: Pencil w glitter
Origin: South Korea

It's been awhile, and I got this back in November, but bear with me...I got both the Lioele version and the Holika Holika version at the same time and I like them both. Equally, I think.

Summary: This is my second sparkle/glitter eyeliner and this one, unlike the previous, has lots of glitter instead of just a hint. However, it's not gaudy or overdone. It goes on smooth, stays on surprisingly well - much longer in comparison to American eye-liner brands that are off in an hour. It does smear a little with time.Overall, I highly recommend it and I use it daily!

Packaging: Comes in a little package,  eyeliner itself is a black pencil with a pink cap (adorable)5/5
Color:  Black glitter, it's a very rich pigmented color. 4/4
Texture: smooth 3/4
Ease of Use: very easy 4/4
Effect: sparkles are pretty, color glides on, but fades and smears... 3/4

Brand: Lioele
Make-up Type: Powder Pact
Origin: Korea

I've had this for a while and I like it. I found it for only $6 from someone who didn't want it. ^_^

Packaging: Adorable bright pink pact with a white fluff pad in a seperate compartment and mirror. Comes in a glossy bright pink paper box.
Color: Light (unsure of exact shade name or number!)
Texture: ...smooth and powdery?
Lastability: ?
Scent: faint
Effect: ...
Other: good size for travel and seems pretty durable
Overall: Not sure if it works better than other powders, or if I like it because it's so damn cute and portable...? And durable - usually they crack in the case or the powder inside, but not this one, even after being thrown around all over the inside of my bag. Impressive.

Brand: Lioele
Product Type: foot/heel cream
Origin: Korea

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND...THEY TEST ON ANIMALS- upon sending the seller an inquiry, they stated that they did not test on animals. They lied.

I ordered this one because it was the cheapest of the Lioele products online and although I had doubts about how well it would work, it's a product I need.
So it arrived, yet it took me over 2 weeks to try it...

On to the review...no actual foot pictures and trust me when I say it's for the best. I have former figure skater feet.

Size: 80 ml
Packaging: 5/5 Pretty...Bubble-gum pink tube with the logo and dark pink and white print.  Comes in the standard bright pink glossy paper box.
Color: (It's white...)
Texture: (Feels like lotion)
Lastability: 5/5 - it really doesn't take much - 1 dime sized portion for each foot.
Scent: 3.5/5 Faint perfume, but not over-bearing or unpleasant
Effect: 4/5 Smooth! Feels tingly, not like "mint tingly" more like I stepped in warm water...TBC
Other: Did I mention how pretty the tube is??
Overall: Not sure of the overall effect and if does more than just making feet feel smooth and silky after application, or if it will still be like this in an hour...or even tomorrow morning...
Will update...TBC

Liole Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base
This sucks...It's a pale pale pink and it disappears as soon as you rub it into your skin...I guess make-up is suppose to be applied over it as it is a base, but I have no use for it...

REVIEW: Laneige (TESTS ON ANIMALS) Strawberry Yogurt Peeling Gel [5/5] *LOVE*

Brand: Laneige
Product Type: peeling gel
Origin: Korea

I've been wanting this for a while, (although I did find the mini sample tube and had to resist the urge to order like 5 of them....) and I finally found it for a decent-ish price...
Love the scent, love the packaging (also comes in a glossy paper box) AND it works!
There is some debate about peeling gels - whether the squishy balls that come off when you rub it into your skin is actually dead skin or ampules in the product that are designed to ball up and take dead skin off. So in the little balls would be dead skin, but the balls per-se are NOT dead skin...?
QUICK REVIEW:
Packaging: Pretty pink tube that comes in a glossy paper box
Scent: Strawberry-like (I am going to avoid that "yummy word" and not tell you that "i wanted to eat it but stopped myself" since that's all I ever hear about this product and it grates on my nerves!)
Texture: Smooth and cool with little grains
Effect: Super-smooth skin!
Price: $20 shipped
other: @ 150 ml, a great size!

REVIEW: *Missha The Style Defining Lip Liner [3.5 stars]

The Style Defining Lip Liner
Transparent lip liner to keep your lip makeup clear without bleeding!!

(1) Keep your lip makeup clear- It outlines lip contour by gliding on easily without feathering and bleeding. It keeps your lip makeup all day long without double applications. (2) Natural lip contour with transparent color reveals- It makes your lip contour clear and natural by filling fine lines on the lips up instead of color reveals of common lip liner.

This only comes in one color: neutral. As much as I like Missha, I'm not crazy about The Style line...it's not as pretty packaging-wise. This is the one exception because it's already pink instead of the plain shiny black.

Brand: Missha
Make-up Type: Lip Liner
Lip liner Type: twist up
Origin: Korea
Tested on Animals: NO
REVIEW: Missha The Style Defining Lip Liner
Packaging: No box - the product is a pretty neutral pink -very pretty!
Scent/taste: N/A
Color: Neutral (only comes in one color)
Texture: smooth
Ease of Use: draw on
Effect: Really does prevent bleeding lines, goes on smoothly, color blends easily
Overall Summary: I really like it and would be very likely to get it again. A little frusterating that it can't be bought locally but has to be ordered online

REVIEW: Missha The Style Glam Pearl Gloss Red-101

I got this as a free gift with my $40 Missha order...
Here's what it says on the site:
A brush type lip gloss. Pearl glitters lips and gives point makeup. Large and small pearl powder glitters without any space and gives volumizing effect. It is visually pleasurable due to its jewel like looks, and High Shine Polymer maintains moisture and shine.

Brand: Missha
Make-up Type: Lip Gloss (sheer/glitter)
Lip Gloss Type: glitter/sheer, brush
Origin: Korea
Tested on Animals: NO

REVIEW:
Packaging: plain, with logo of The Style line
Scent/taste: neutral
Color:Bright pink glitter -sheer
Ease of Use: The brush is amazing; it glides right on and exactly where you want it.
Effect: shiny, glittery lips. Not sticky, but a little gummy
Overall: Nothing special outside of the applicator brush. Wears & rubs off quickly...
Pretty average and there are a LOT of lip glosses out there. I prefer both the Sugar brush glosses and the Hard Candy twist brush glosses which have more coverage and more color.

Actual photo of gloss: coming soon!

REVIEW: Skin79 currently tests on animals and I cannot recommend such a brand...

I DO NOT RECOMMEND SKIN79 PRODUCTS

Since I first started getting into Korean cosmetics, I was unsure which companies tested on animals and was going on information provided by other reviewers and bloggers that turned out to be false 99% of the time. As of January 2014, Skin79 DOES test on animals and I cannot recommend them or their products due to that.

REVIEW: Skin79 Diamond Collection Luminous Body Bronze Balm

I got this one in the mail two days after I got my first Skin79 BB cream on Saturday, (see review) and this one came with a sample for VIP Gold Collection Super BB cream. I'll get to that one...
This also came in a shiny light pink box, and the product is a little light pink (as is everything in the Diamond Line) tube (45 g).

Packaging - very pretty & shiny - print is silver instead of rainbow hologram like the other pink collection (Summer Collection)

Color - It IS bronze, but it blends into the skin really well so you don't end up looking orange. It also has some shimmer/sparkles.

Scent -A nice clean smell that disappears and leaves behind a slight make-up meets suntan lotion smell.

Texture - Smooth, creamy, not oily

Effect - It's really pretty - not sure how long it lasts yet, but you can safely put it all over without looking "fake" and it loks amazing on cheekbones as well as the upper eye arch.

Overall -
Subtle enough to use all year round, no bad effects on skin, and SPARKLY!
