It comes in a little apple shaped container like Tony Moly & B&C (i think B&C was first to start this packaging with their lip gloss and cream)
Size: ml - mini - it's REALLY tiny! And IMO they could fit more in than they do because it's not even full. 1/5
Packaging: 3/5 -really cute apple shaped container - minus a star because it's been done before...
Color: It's actually apple colored...Texture: 4/5 Smooth & creamy
Lastability: 1.5/5 It may only last 3 uses if that. It's a mini, but the content is more that of a sample...
Scent: 4/5 Great! Very sweet Apple scent...
Effect: 0/5 ...o_o...nothing...i finally remembered to put it on at night and the next morning...nothing!

That's a score of...13.5 out of 30.
Overall: pass on this and try something else...

I ordered this because it was a decent price on Etude USA and I want to try all the Asian peeling products... I didn't like the Moistful one very much at all...

This is actually a foam in a tin-like bottle with a spray foam nozzle. Like shaving cream...

Summary:
I wasn't expecting much from a metal/tin tube, especially when it came out looking exactly like shaving cream. However, unlike the Moistful Peeling "Wash", there was a little peeling and there was moisture afterwards.  Magic Bubble line -the packaging design is kind of bland and i didn't notice it immediately...You rub it on your face, rub it in until it starts peeling (very minimal amount no matter how long you do it), and then rinse. Actual peeling effect is grey, which is kind of gross...This is NOT going to take off very much dead skin at all, and I question if it takes anything off?

On to the review...

Packaging: 3/5 Purple un-traditional tin-like bottle with a nozzle. Art features a fairy/pixie. Not very eye-catching and more feminine than cute or girly. Etude always has a new theme gimmick line.

Texture: 3.5/5 Smooth yet foamy, sticky when rubbed into skin...
Lastability: UNKNOWN. Since it's a tin, you can't tell how full it is, but a lot comes out when sprayed...
Scent: 4/5
Ease of Use: 5/5 Spray and use.
Effect: 3.5/5 Somewhat smooth skin after-wards. Somewhat moisturized. What I would have expected from the failure of Moistful...
The Verdict: I'm done with foam or spray or alternative peeling products. Only gel from here on out.
There was a tiny bit of peeling, but not enough to make it worth it.

I ordered this because it was a decent price on Etude USA @ $12.99 and I wanted to try the Moistful line (I also got the mist, 8.99) because of the name and the pretty pink bubble designs...
Also because the Sherbet line isn't available to the US

Summary: It's pretty, it's pink, it has a nice scent...
Here's the problem. It says "Peeling Wash", not peeling gel, and I think it shouldn't really even have "peeling" in the name because it's false advertising.
The standard peeling gel (Laneige, SkinFood, Missha) is applied to dry skin and rubbed in. That's where it "peels".
(There is debate on whether it's actual skin or the product granules itself FYI)
This impostor peeler has very VERY minimal actual peeling. It's also thicker and instead of just wiping your face with a washcloth, you actually have to rinse this off. Then my face felt slightly sticky. Not "Moistful" as advertised.


On to the review...

Size: ml -pretty small compared to Laneige
Packaging: 5/5 Pretty...The Moistful line is pale pink (the color of this text) with bubbles. This comes in a traditional squeeze tube.
Color: A strange clear gel Texture: 4/5 Cool and smooth, but very thick
Lastability: 3/5 When you squeeze it, a ton comes out and it's not that big of a tube...
Scent: 4/5 Clean perfume scent, a little over-powering
Effect: 2/5  Hardly any peeling, but afterwards skin does feel moisturized.
Overall: 3/5 I didn't notice any difference from a regular facial wash, and it left behind a slightly sticky feeling. I wouldn't get it again!

Color: A dark dark beige that blends right into fair skin...dewy, no shimmer

Texture: light, smooth

Coverage:very good...but not as good as Lioele Beyond The Solution...

Lastability: Pretty well. Did not have to reapply all day...
Scent: neutral kind of "cosmetic chemicals" smell. I don't like it but it fades.

REVIEW: Missha Nail Polish : NOT long-lasting...[1/5]

This nail polish is currently on sale for .29 each! That's incentive enough for me to try it. I ordered 2 colors- PK 108 and PK 102.

REVIEW:

PK 108 is actually a sandy shimmer color, and PK 102 is a bright pink sheer glitter.

So not really at all what is pictured...but I like PK108 better in person.

The site says: It is highly lustrous and glossy; it dries quickly and is long-lasting.

Actuality: It is lustrous, but not very glossy. It does dry quickly, but is NOT long-lasting.

Mine couldn't last through doing the dishes. It didn't just chip or peel, but it shrunk to a blotch in the middle of my nail the way other nail-polish looks after about a week to a few days.

Disappointing.

I got this as a free gift with my $40 Missha order...

Ease of Use: The brush is amazing; it glides right on and exactly where you want it.
Effect: shiny, glittery lips. Not sticky, but a little gummy
Overall: Nothing special outside of the applicator brush. Wears & rubs off quickly...
Pretty average and there are a LOT of lip glosses out there. I prefer both the Sugar brush glosses and the Hard Candy twist brush glosses which have more coverage and more color.

REVIEW: The Face Shop @ Walgreens! (USA) Pearl Essential Face Mask

The Face Shop is a Korean make-up/skincare company that makes natural products.
They support nature and DO NOT test on animals! YAY!
There are US locations in NY and California, as well as Canadian locations. Ironically, Korean products can be found in those cities anyways in Korean/Asian shops.
Anyways, they partnered with Walgreens nation-wide to sell their "most popular" facial masks- 10 in total.
I have only been able to find Pearl, Collagen, Ceramide, Lemon, Pomegranate so far, which means I'm missing 5...



Description: Pearl is a rare,precious stone rich in calcium which helps illuminate,clarify, and hydrate lackluster skin...For clearer skin...

Packaging: pretty basic, easy open. "pearl text" is silver
Mask texture: Soft/ wet
Mask Scent: Hard to describe, but it's an amazing clean smell that I LOVE! It's strong but relaxing... + 5 stars
Ease of Use: Open, put on, wait 15-20 minutes, remove, then pat face. (Very easy! )
Mask Fit: These seem very big to me - they hang off my face a little which makes them slide and pull a little... -2 stars
Effects: Smooth skin, no breakouts! Moisturizing...
Summary: Not a huge difference skin-wise BUT I already have soft skin ...I loved the scent and the moisturizing was nice. Would get again - mostly for the scent!
In fact, I have saved the package and hung it up like a little air freshener...I'd put up the mask too, but it would be a little creepy...

*Note* This is my second face mask - the first was Missha Acerola and it burned and made me break-out. I'd say this one was a success. ^_^

REVIEW: Missha (not cruelty free) Super Aqua Detoxifying Peeling Gel

This is my very first peeling gel...

Usage: (directly from site) 1.Wash face & dry with towel 2. Spread appropriate amount onto face (avoiding lips & eyes) & massage gently until dead skin & impurities fall off and wash off with lukewarm water.

This is where I had my only problem... So let me emphasize MASSAGE GENTLY...As you rub, dead skin really does immediately come off and I apparently rubbed my left cheekbone a little too enthusiastically... I didn't notice until I had finished (and washed off with lukewarm water), but I was left with a red bumpy rash on my cheekbone of all places. Three days later it still stings. @_@

Results: Soft smooth skin with a painful rash on my cheek... +4 -1


In conclusion, I like the scent, it was easy to use, and it made my dead skin (eww) peel right off. Afterwards I had noticeably smoother skin. The rash was a little traumatizing especially since this is supposed to be specifically for sensitive skin, but all in all it was my first peel attempt. I am reserving giving it a rating just yet until I have tried other peels, but I would definately like to try more products in the Aqua line by Missha. FYI, the full-size product is 100 ml and retails for $20. It comes in different packaging; ie not a squeeze tube.

REVIEW: Skin79 Diamond Collection Luminous Body Bronze Balm




I got this one in the mail two days after I got my first Skin79 BB cream on Saturday, (see review) and this one came with a sample for VIP Gold Collection Super BB cream. I'll get to that one...
This also came in a shiny light pink box, and the product is a little light pink (as is everything in the Diamond Line) tube (45 g).

Packaging - very pretty & shiny - print is silver instead of rainbow hologram like the other pink collection (Summer Collection)

Color - It IS bronze, but it blends into the skin really well so you don't end up looking orange. It also has some shimmer/sparkles.


Scent -A nice clean smell that disappears and leaves behind a slight make-up meets suntan lotion smell.

Texture - Smooth, creamy, not oily

Effect - It's really pretty - not sure how long it lasts yet, but you can safely put it all over without looking "fake" and it loks amazing on cheekbones as well as the upper eye arch.

Overall -
Subtle enough to use all year round, no bad effects on skin, and SPARKLY!

Skin79 Water Drop BB Balm

I know I'm a little behind in this, but my first BB cream arrived in the mail yesterday...
BB cream is a popular Korean cosmetic product that -like fashion to the midwest- just hasn't arrived in the US as of 2010.
BB cream is the term used for "Blemish Balm" which was actually copyrighted by a Korean company.
*The origins are Germany -it was used as a therapy moisturizer for the irritated skin after skin treatment (microdermabrasion,laser,etc.) It was picked up by Korean actresses, singers... and manufactored by several different Korean companies(Skin79, Skinfood, Shills, Missha...)for the masses. *The general uses are skin brightening, oil control, wrinkle improvement, and sometimes whitening complete with built in UV protection.
it is a foundation/concealer of sorts with a light sheer look and feel which also evens out skin tones (red spots,etc.)

The one I got was under $10 shipped but they sell in online import make-up stores for $23 +.
Skin79 Water Drop BB is part of the Hot Pink line -also know as the "summer collection" and comes in a 45.3 g squeeze tube(see photo). The outside packaging is a pink box. It is oil free and contains plant extracts.

On to the review:

Color: The color is a nice neutral light nude color with shimmer - it looks much too fake just out of the tube, but it absorbs into skin flawlessly and leaves behind sheer coverage and shimmer.

Texture: Creamy, not at all greasy or oily, and after it absorbs into your skin it is weightless. Does leave behind a slight cooling feeling, not sure if it moisturizes as my skin was pretty soft today prior to use...it also did not feel any tighter(?)

Coverage: It does even out "red spots" but won't make dark or bright ones disappear - I haven't tried it on my under eye circles yet because mine are much more severe than most and generally blow even specially formulated eye concealers away. >_<

Scent: Good, but does not smell like "aqua" as stated...?

Protection: Unsure - the weather is not warm here and the sun is in hiding...
